Our world language teachers, Ms. McNamara and Ms. Bernal, along with our world language consultant Amanda Seewald, presented our language model and values at the New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers (NYSAFLT) Conference. Their presentation was titled, "Proficiency with Purpose: A Global K-8 Language Learning Journey" and comes in the year we will graduate our very first K-8 cohort! The Poco team was honored to have the World Languages Associate in the Office of Bilingual Education and World Languages at the New York State Education Department in attendance and appreciated her great questions and positive feedback.
