Notice of the Annual School Budget Vote & Board Election: May 19, 2026 7am–9pm

- Thursday, May 7, 2026
To be eligible to vote a person must be:
- A citizen of the United States
- 18 years of age or older by the date of the vote/election
- a resident of the school district for at least 30 days immediately preceding the election
If you are a registered voter in Westchester County, you are eligible to vote in the School District Budget Vote.
Any eligible resident interested in registering to vote for school district elections may do so in person at the District Clerk’s Office between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, on any day that school is in session. Registration must be completed at least five days prior to the vote.
Please note that registering through the school district only qualifies you to vote in school district elections and does not register you for other local, state, or federal elections.

If you are not registered, you may also register with the Westchester County Board of Elections either by mail or online through the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles website.
Trustee Election Information
There are two (2) Board of Education Trustee seasts available for a three-year term beginning on July 1, 2026 and ending on June 30, 2029. If you are interested in running for the school Board, stop by the District Clerk’s office to obtain a Nominating Petition Packet.

Absentee, Early Voter and Military Ballot Information
VOTING FOR CANDIDATES
Applications for absentee ballots must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the election if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter (May 12, 2026), or the day before the election (May 18, 2026) if the ballot will be picked up and personally delivered by the voter to the Office of the District Clerk
Early Voting Ballots. A qualified voter may vote as an early voter. Each person entitled to vote as an early voter and wanting to obtain an early mail ballot, would need to complete the application below and return it to the District Clerk no earlier than thirty (30) days before the election (April 19, 2026). If the application requests that the early mail ballot be mailed to the voter, the application must be received by the District Clerk no later than seven (7) days before the election. If the voter returns the application by hand to the District Clerk within less than seven (7) days, but at least one (1) day before the election, the District Clerk would have to deliver the early mail ballot in person.

IMPORTANT MILITARY INFORMATION
A military voter may request an application for a military ballot by mail, facsimile or email. The completed application must be received by the District Clerk by no later than 5 pm twenty-five (25) days prior to the election (April 23, 2026). Military ballots must be returned by mail or in person and received by the District Clerk by 5 pm on the date of the vote (May 19, 2025).
