Our world language teachers, Ms. McNamara and Ms. Bernal, presented our language model and values at the New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers (NYSAFLT) Conference. Their presentation was titled, “Proficiency with Purpose: A Global K-8 Language Learning Journey.” They (and our school) were even acknowledged and celebrated by the language director at the New York State Education Department, who was in the audience and was moved by the presentation!
