Caterina’s Kitchen: Fall Preserving and Soup with an Italian Nonna!
 
In this special culinary experience, Angela Ilardi’s (our amazing 5th grade teacher) mother, who was raised in Italy, will share her authentic Italian cooking secrets, teaching you traditional Italian methods for fall food preserving and hearty soups.
 
Course Details
 
Learn From:
Nonna Caterina, an Italian home cook with decades of experience in authentic family recipes.
 
What You’ll Learn:
  • Traditional Italian techniques for preserving fall produce
  • Recipes and hands-on preparation of classic Italian soups
  • Tips and stories from an Italian Nonna’s kitchen
  • Each participant will go home with two 32 oz jars of delicious, homemade products!

Time
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
 
Cost Per Session
  • FIRST, CAP Subscription payment must be dropped off cash or check to Gina Downes in the main office (gdownes@pocanticohills.org)
  • $25 (Includes all ingredients and take-home jars)
Priority & Eligibility
  • Participants must be 18 years or older.
  • Pocantico Hills residents will have priority registration. Remaining slots may be filled by non-residents.
Maximum Participants
  • 12-15 (to ensure a hands-on experience for all)
Location
Pocantico Hills CSD FACS Room 220, Parking through Gate 3 near tennis courts.  Enter building through the FACS double doors.
 
Additional Information
  • All materials provided.
  • Please bring an apron if you wish.
